Welcome to Stillwater Marine Services RI! My name is Ben Nadeau and I own/operate this business from my home in Charlestown. While I’ve spent most of my life on boats in one way or another, I have been professionally engaged in the Marine Industry for 5 years. I have built up my credentials by working at Clark Boatyard in Jamestown, Ida Lewis Yacht Club in Newport, and Watch Hill Yacht Club in Westerly. I have a USCG Limited Master credential so much of my work has involved Launch Driving, but a steady stream of wash/wax/polish/paint/etc. jobs have kept me busy when not on the water and educated me on the nuances of a wide variety of boats.
In 2022, I decided to make these types of jobs my full-time business. With the guidance of leading Marinas and Boatyards such as those run by Safe Harbor, I acquired a comprehensive insurance policy to ensure ease of mind for my clients. I pride myself on a job well done and completed on time, as well as prompt communication to ensure customer satisfaction. Having worked on brand new luxury yachts, I have an intimate knowledge of what quality of work is expected.
